I hate NY summers
It’s only June 8th and we’re already in the midst of a heatwave. If I didn’t have my 2 new window a/c units, I would go nuts. I’ve never loved the heat (and humidity) of summer. I can never understand why people aka newscasters go nuts when they hear it will be 90+ degrees; it’s much easier to get warm when you’re cold than vice-versa. Gah!
I’ve been experimenting with the newer version of SETI (SETI-BOINC); it’s still a mystery. Verification of WU’s take much longer now and I’m not sure what score I am getting. Plus 2 major outtages in less than a week don’t help matters much.
I can’t believe System of a Down has been around for years and I’ve never heard of them. I don’t much listen to radio nowadays but still. Must say I like Mesmerize.
It’s midnight and still 83 degrees.
