1. How do I install DWANGO?
For the Windows 95 Client Software, simply download the dwango95.exe file, run the file in a temporary directory, run the setup.exe file in this directory, and follow the Windows 95 installation instructions. For the DOS Client Software, download the dwango.zip file, then unzip it into its own directory. After you unzip it, type "install" and hit enter. Follow the installation instructions, and then type DWANGO to login and start frag'n !
2. I have tried installing the DOS client but it gives me an error. What now?
Sometimes, mainly if you have a SCSI drive, you will have problems running our DOS installation program. If you get some form of a disk error while installing the DOS DWANGO client software, then you should type "install c:\dwango". Our DOS installtion program sometimes has problems recognizing some SCSI drives/drivers.

6. How do I change which server I'm calling?
The best way to change which server you are calling is to type dwango -server (must be typed in small letters) from your DWANGO prompt. This will allow you to re-select your default server. From then on, simply type dwango to call the new server. From the Windows95 client, click on File, Properties, then the server tab. Make sure there is a "1" at the beginning of the phone number if the call is long distance.
7. How do I change my com port, irq, or init string?
All of these can be changed by typing dwango -config (must be typed in lower case) from your DWANGO prompt. From the Win95 client, click on File, Properties, then modem.
8. Every time I try to launch DWANGO, it says that DWANGO must be run in real mode, and gives 3 possible reasons why I'm in protected mode. What do I do?
Unless youre running Windows 95, its easy. Just reboot your system and hit F8 when it says starting MS-DOS. Choose "no" for everything except your sound and mouse drivers. If you are running Windows 95, it is slightly more complicated. You need to create a shortcut to command.com and confirm that there are no memory managers in the autoexec.bat or config.sys that it will be using. If youre unsure how to do all that, call tech support at 713-467-0405.
9. I am able to log on to DWANGO fine, but when I launch into a game, my computer locks or drops me back into the DWANGO lobby. What is wrong?
You may have a shortage of available memory. Even if you have 16 megs of ram or more, you still could have memory problems caused by having too many things (drivers and such) loaded into conventional memory. Clean boot your computer (re-boot and hit F5 when it says "starting MS-DOS") and try again.
10. When I try to launch DWANGO, it says "modem not responding". What is wrong?
Make sure your modem is plugged in correctly. Also make sure you have selected the correct com port and irq for your modem. If your modem is external, make sure the power is on.
